BIRD & OWL BOXES & BIRD TABLES

We have received requests from local environmental groups and individuals for these items. For some we procure the material specifically, others like the bird boxes shown in the photo, are made from donated off cuts. All are to a good standard with species specific requirements incorporated where requested.
CHURCH & COMMUNITY GATES

We have refurbished the gates for both High Hoyland Church and for Denby Dale Pie Hall. The church gates were wooden and the Pie Hall metal. Our members provided the skills and know how to deliver both.
CHRISTMAS REINDEER

Probably our most popular item. We’ve sold hundreds at local Christmas fairs.
Made from locally sourced wood, these are a great project for shed members of all levels of competence. Any “variations in creation” only adds to the character of the product.
NOTICE BOARDS & SIGNAGE
We have made notice boards and signage boards for local conservation groups and Skelmanthorpe U3A. These can be see around the locality.
COMMUNITY PROJECTS

We have made planters for local schools and replaced the shutters for Skelmanthorpe textile Heritage Centre.
We have also worked with the Denby Dale Craft Group providing infrastructure for their displays as part of Kirklees woven festivals. This incorporates displays at the local station and the rainbow sheep currently located at Denby Dale Community library.
